Step 2

Elephants arrive at Walvis Bay after being trucked for a day and a half from Tuli.

Elephant are loaded onto the ship along with other game

Step 3
Animals spend three days at sea on the South African Navy support vessel - the SAS Outeniqua
Step 4
Animals arrive in Luanda, Angola and are trucked 60 kilometers to Quiçama National Park where they are released
Step 5
The remaining 75 elephant and other game begin their journey when the whole process is repeated.

Containers
The elephant and other game are housed in standard shipping containers while being trucked and shipped and these need to be modified to accommodate them.

Unicorn Lines offerd to donate 40 shipping containers to the Kissama Foundation for the operation. These containers will be modified to transport elephants and other game to Angola.
